Middle East Film and Comic Con, Games Con and more coming to Expo 2020 Dubai

With the New Year in sight, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are getting ready for a whole list of massive events in 2020, including the World’s Greatest Show.

While Expo 2020 will showcase plenty of amazing pavilions, the site will also play host to a number of notable conferences and entertainment events.

Highlights include Cityscape Global from November 10, 2020, one of the biggest pop culture celebrations in the Middle East, Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC) on March 4, 2021, along with gaming conference Games Con on the same date at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC).

In the meantime, dates for this year’s MEFCC have also been announced for 2020. Check out when to get dressed up as your favourite character right now.

The move is in line with an agreement with UK-headquartered events company Informa.

“Informa will be bringing some of the most exciting and popular events in Dubai to the DEC, enabling visitors to enhance their experience with all that Expo 2020 has to offer,” said executive director of Expo 2020 Dubai Bureau Najeeb Mohammed Al-Ali on our sister site Arabian Business.

“This significant agreement builds on DEC’s growing reputation as one of the most innovative and connected event and entertainment venues in the world.”
