Venues and events to remain closed and postponed until April 14

All venues, tours, floating restaurants and events in Dubai are to be remain closed, postponed or cancelled until Tuesday April 14 2020 in light of the coronavirus outbreak.

A statement from the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing announced an extension.

“In line with Dubai Government precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of its residents and visitors, we extend all the Precautionary Circulars on the website until 14th April,” it reads.

“Dubai Tourism will continuously evaluate the situation in coordination with health authorities.”

This comes after the announcement that the UAE’s National Disinfection Programme was to run until April 5, where people are urged to stay at home during the hours of 8pm and 6am unless essential.
