Public transport in Dubai to resume services from Sunday April 26

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has announced that public transport will resume service from Sunday April 26.

Following a decision by Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, public buses, taxis and Dubai Metro will return to more regular service.

Dubai Metro will operate from 7am to 11pm from Saturday to Thursday and 10am to 11pm on Fridays.

Public buses will operate on normal timetables during the day from 6am to 10pm along the bus routes 8, 10, 12, A13, 17, 24, C01, C07, F18, F21, F34, F43 and X23.

RTA has confirmed that public buses and the Metro will resume normal fares from Sunday April 26.

All passengers on public transport are expected to wear face masks and maintain a safe physical distance at all times.

Taxis are restricted to two passengers at any one time, both seated in the back away from the driver.

From Sunday April 2 public parking will be a paid service from 8am to 6pm and from 8pm to midnight.

Sterilisation and cleaning will continue to ensure public safety when travelling in the emirate.
