Dubai’s Iron Maiden concert cancelled

Dubai’s Iron Maiden concert has been cancelled. The world-famous metal band were due to perform at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on May 27 but the gig has now been cancelled for health and safety reasons.

Ticket holders are able to get a full refund.

“We’re sorry to announce that due to the international measures being taken to ensure the public’s health and safety, the upcoming Iron Maiden show scheduled to take place at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on 27th May has to be cancelled,” read a statement from the organisers. “Existing ticket holders will receive a full refund from their original point of purchase within 21 working days.”

The band is famous for songs including The Trooper, Run To The Hills, 2 Minutes to Midnight and plenty more.

Band manager Rod Smallwood added: “Of course we are very disappointed, it has been too long since we played Dubai and the Middle East and we were very much looking forward to giving fans there a great show in the impressive new arena. Fans can be rest assured that we will be making every effort to return and will do so. Until then stay safe and be smart.”
