RTA Dubai updates public transport timings

In light of the UAE announcing new timings for the National Sterilisation Programme ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2020, the Road and Transport Authority (RTA) Dubai has updated public transport timings.

As of Wednesday May 20 until further notice, public transport including Dubai Metro, Tram, buses, marine transport, taxis and shared transport will change according to the new national sterilisation times from 8pm until 6am.

For the Dubai Metro, the Red and Green Lines will start operating from 7am until 9pm. This means the last journey on the Red Line from Al Rashidiya Station to UAE Exchange Station will start at 7.54pm, while the last journey in the opposite direction will start from 7.53pm.

As for the Green Line, the last service will start from the Creek Station to Etisalat Station at 8.21pm, and the last journey from Etisalat Metro Station to the Creek Station will start at 8.20pm.

The Dubai Tram will follow the same hours, operating from 7am until 9pm.

As for city buses, 902 buses will start services at 6am and continue until 8pm, with 74 buses operating through routes 8, 10, 12, A13, 17, C01, C07, F18, F21, F34, F43 and X23.

Marine transport will be operating on seven lines from 8.30am until 7pm, while tourist lines on the Dubai Water Canal as well as Al Ghubaiba-Sharjah Aquarium Stations will remain closed.

As for shared transport include taxis, Careem and Uber, they will operate from 6am until 8pm.
