Public transport timings in Dubai for Eid al-Fitr

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has announced timings for Dubai’s public transport over the Eid al-Fitr holiday, which runs until Wednesday (May 27).



Dubai Metro’s Red and Green Lines are to run is to run Saturday to Thursday from 7am until 9pm, and the Dubai Tram will follow the same hours.

Meanwhile the service providers’ centres and customer happiness centres will be shut from May 22 until May 26, reopening on Wednesday May 27.

Public buses will run throughout the holiday from 6am until 8pm. Maritime transport will also run. The Water bus at Marina stations (Marina Mall, Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, Marina Promenade), and Dubai Creek stations (Old Dubai Market - Baniyas), (Deira Market) The old - Sabkha - Al Fahidi) (Al Seef - Baniyas) will operate from 9am until 7pm. The water bus will operate at Al Jaddaf Station to Dubai Festival City from 7.30am until 7pm. Abras from Old Dubai Market to Al Sabkha and Old Deira Market to Bur Dubai will run from 6am until 7pm.

Meanwhile public parking in Dubai is free from May 22 until May 26 across the city, except for multi-storey carparks. Parking fees will resume on Wednesday May 27.
