Major parks in Dubai are now open

Major parks in Dubai have reopened today (Friday May 29). The Dubai Frame is also the latest Dubai attraction to have reopened to the public.

“Dubai Municipality announces the reopening of major parks and the Dubai Frame to the general public from Friday May 29, and asks all to strictly follow the precautionary measures imposed by the Municipality at these locations for your safety,” read a tweet from Dubai Media Office.

Parks across Dubai have been reopening in a three-phase plan since May 12.

The public are urged to adhere to safety measures when visiting parks in Dubai.

Four public beaches in Dubai are also now open. JBR beach, Al Mamzar, Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim beaches are all now open from today (Friday May 29).

This follows the news that from Wednesday May 27 gyms, cinemas and other businesses around Dubai were allowed to reopen.

Malls in Dubai are now able to operate at 70 percent of their capacity. Attractions across Dubai including ice rinks and aquariums are also allowed to open, but at 50 percent capacity. Cinemas are also now open but with strict social distancing in place.
