Museums in Dubai are to reopen from Monday June 1.

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has announced that it will reopen its museums in a “phased manner” from June 1.

Al Shindagha and Etihad Museums will be open from 10am to 5pm daily, while the Coins Museum will be open from 8am until 2pm, Sunday to Thursday.

All historical sites have been closed since mid-March. They will reopen at 50 percent capacity, while kids under 12 and adults over 60 are now allowed to visit. Groups must not be over five people and events and celebrations are still not permitted. Visitors must adhere to strict social distancing measures and must where face masks. Everyone will have a temperature check before being allowed in.



As of Wednesday May 27 business across Dubai have been reopening, with cinemas, attractions and malls all able to reopen.

Today (Friday May 29) four public beaches have reopened (JBR beach, Al Mamzar, Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim) as well as major Dubai parks and The Dubai Frame.
