Since its initial reopening on April 7, Dubai’s popular Waterfront Market has followed strict precautionary health and safety measures to stop the spread of Covid-19 and to keep customers safe.

As of now, the market, which sells fruit, vegetables, fresh meat, fish and more, will be open daily from 6am, closing at 8pm for deep cleaning and sanitisation.

Retail, restaurants and the pharmacy is now open from 9am until 7pm, while Lulu Hypermarket is open from 8am until 10pm.

The fresh food market has taken precautionary health and safety measures.

There’s a dedicated team on a 24-hour cleaning programme, which includes disinfecting and sanitising all common areas, as well as standard hygiene cleaning practises implemented.

There is also thermal cameras installed, along with social distancing practices in place for customers – everyone is required to wear masks and gloves at all times.

“In light of Covid-19 we have taken additional precautionary measures across the entire property to further ensure the health and safety of all our customers, staff and the wider community. We encourage our community to practise physical distancing and stay safe during these unprecedented times,” said Waterfront Market manager Mohammad Al Madani.

“As we deal in fresh food health, safety, security and hygiene have always been our number one priority.”
