Tickets to Christopher Nolan’s latest blockbuster are now on sale

Dubai Opera hosting special premiere of Tenet this weekend

Movies are back in town, film fans, and to mark one of 2020’s most anticipated blockbusters, Dubai Opera has something special planned.

Dubai Opera is setting up a special screening of director Christopher Nolan’s espionage time thriller Tenet this weekend, and tickets are available now.

Screening on Friday August 28 at noon, 5pm and 9.30pm, tickets are priced at Dhs70, while tickets with popcorn and a house beverage come in at Dhs125.

As for what Tenet is, some say this is actually director Christopher Nolan’s first movie, and that he got the idea to make it ‘tomorrow’. If that sounds ludicrously confusing, it should, as Tenet is all about time-travelling.

If we know anything about Nolan’s career (we’re looking at you Inception), then we already know this will be an action-packed puzzle to decipher, and we can’t wait.

Nolan directs John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki and Robert Pattinson in a time-travel spy epic that sees Washington take centre stage as the hero trying to stop a third world war. We’re glad this one is kicking off the return of cinemas flicks.

Check out our thoughts on Nolan’s frosty sci-fi espionage right here. Rest assured, it’s sure to thrill.

Tenet isn’t the only blockbuster coming out soon, as big movies that were previously delayed now have a release date in the UAE. Check them out right here.
