We are spoiled for choice when it comes to soaking up the sun and relaxing by the sea in Dubai and the world is taking notice.
JBR Beach has been named as one of the top 10 beaches in the world by experts as part of a global ranking.
The Dubai beach has placed in 8th on the Golden Beach Award 2024 countdown of the top 100 between Glass Beach in California and Skeleton Coast in Namibia.

JBR Beach ranked highly by beachatlas.com because it blended city vibes with beach relaxation as it lies across the water from the booming city centre.
The aesthetic is on point at JBR with golden sands and clear water while there’s also loads to do including water sports and camel rides.
Beachatlas also highlighted The Walk as a lively promenade with shops, places to eat and street entertainment. Its experts called it the “perfect spot for those who love the beach but want the thrill of city life too”.
The beach experts use more than just good vibes and how it looks to put together their list and consider six separate sets of criteria.
They, of course, do look at the classic postcard beauty of each destination but also if it’s a community hub, a party zone, if people are made to feel welcome, whether it has made a mark culturally and if it has gorgeous natural surroundings.
The final ranking is decided by travel experts and influencers who have a personal insight to refine the shortlisted 100 beaches.
