Established in Luton, Bedfordshire, in 1967, Jethro Tull are famed for their jazz, folk and rock fusion. Evolving their sound over the years, the only original member is Ian Anderson.
In 1969, the band supported Jimi Hendrix in Scandinavia and toured the US, supporting Led Zeppelin. During the same year, Tull’s single Living in the Past hit number three on the UK singles charts.
The band split up in 2012, reformed five years later and has been touring ever since. They’ve released two studio albums over the last year, The Zealot Gene in 2022 and RökFlöte in 2023.
