Do you live in Jumeriah Lake Towers (JLT) or are you planning a weekend trip to the area? Then this is something you need to know.
There is a temporary road closure planned along the RTA Western Parallel Road adjacent to the Mazaya Towers on two weekends, starting on Friday January 12 until Monday January 15 and on Friday January 19 until January 22.
The closure will be in place from Friday January 12 at 8pm to Monday January 15 at 5am.
And on Friday January 19 at 8pm until the following Monday January 22 until 5am.
The diversion is due to the concrete pouring work on plot BB4.
JLT is one of the most popular neighbourhoods in Dubai and made up of 26 clusters named after the letters of the English alphabet (A-Z).
The neighbourhood is filled with high-rise buildings that surround lakes.

Want to catch a free flick under the stars? Head to JLT Park in Cluster Q before 7.30pm on Saturday night. The upcoming movies this month are:
- January 13: Emperor’s New Groove.
- January 20: The Princess Diaries.
- January 27: Ratatouille.
