The beaches will also have systems and electronic screens set up to display content aimed at increasing safety awareness among beachgoers.
A spokesperson of Dubai Municipality explained that the new night-swimming beaches are part of the city’s efforts to make the emirate the world’s best place to live and visit. He added that the initiative forms part of the municipality’s beach development plan to provide distinctive experiences for residents and tourists.
The government body has also developed unique facilities to improve the experience of beachgoers. They’ve promised that each beach has its own unique charm and offers a range of activities, including vibrant seaside dining.
The swimmers are also looked after by qualified lifeguards equipped with rescue and emergency devices to make sure that everyone swimming at night is completely safe.
Night swimming timings start from sunset to sunrise every day.
