A new on-demand chauffeur service aimed at the city’s estimated 70,000 millionaires has officially launched.
High-rollers have been requesting Wheely, a Swiss-born transport company, to expand operations to Dubai. It’s already available in Paris, Moscow and London.
The brand operates an on-demand chauffeur-for-hire service which is primarily invite-only with members-only options available.
Rides are in the same high-end vehicles in every city as the brand wants the luxury car-hailing app to be consistent throughout the world.
Anton Chirkunov, the co-founder and CEO of Wheely, said that there is a lot of opportunity in Dubai for his company.
Speaking to Arabian Business, he said: “In the past few years, a lot of European high net worths moved to Dubai and many Middle Eastern residents have experienced our services in London and Paris. Dubai also became the most requested destination by our customers.
“There is a lot of opportunity with the city’s almost 70,000 millionaires.”
What do you get with Wheely?
Rides with Wheely are either in a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or a BMW 5 Series G60 and have three different options for customers.
The Business Class option is open to all app users and provides a ride in the latest BMW 5 series vehicle with Evian water, paper tissues, disinfecting wipes and iPhone chargers.
Another option is New First Class in the latest Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which is only for members, and it features an Acqua di Parma car diffuser, Oshibori towels and complimentary bottles of FIJI water.
Riders can personalise their trip by choosing what music plays, the interior lighting or a massage seat.
Members can also reserve a chauffeur for a whole day which will provide the busy people using it plenty of flexibility.
For those landing in Dubai by plane, there is a “perfect airport pickup” option which allows your chauffeur to track your flight and arrive at the gate in good time.
Larger groups or families can take a spacious Mercedes-Benz V-Class which will have enough space for luggage and children.
