A day of live music, great food and drink and all-around good vibes is coming to Dubai Media City next month.
The Pub in the Park music festival will be headlined by English pop-rock band Scouting For Girls with more names set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Scouting For Girls hit the top of the charts in the UK with their debut album which included hits such as She’s So Lovely, Elvis Ain’t Dead and Heartbeat.
Another English band Toploader, perhaps best known for their multi-platinum version of Dancing in the Moonlight, have also been announced for the day of festivities.
Also taking to the stage will be tribute bands to Queen and ABBA so there will be ample opportunity to lose your voice and embarrass those around you with your dancing.
Tickets for the family-friendly event on Sunday April 21 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre are already on sale for Dhs50.
There will also be global street food stalls from award-winning chefs and plenty of mixed drinks on offer.
Pubs and restaurants have been hand-picked for the event with plenty of grape and hops also available.
A dedicated kids’ area will have a lot of crafts and games to keep the little ones busy between acts (and during if your dancing is that bad).
