UB40 legend Ali Campbell returns to Dubai

Red Red Wine singer to perform reggae outfit’s greatest hits at The Irish Village

UB40 legend Ali Campbell will cross many rivers to once again appear in Dubai this month.

Campbell will perform the British reggae outfit’s greatest hits at The Irish Village on Wednesday, April 27.

The 52-year-old will sing alongside a 10-piece band to classic tunes such as Red Red Wine, Can’t Help Falling in Love and I Got You Babe.

As part of UB40, lead singer Campbell sold more than 70 million records worldwide and toured the globe for 30 years.

He left the band in 2008 and has since embarked on a successful solo career. In 2007, he released a solo album Running Free, which entered the UK charts at number nine and went gold.

Campbell has been a regular performer in the UAE, last performing at The Irish Village in November last year.

Doors open for the show at 9pm. Tickets cost Dhs150. Over-21s only. For more details, click here.
