Listen to live music

Now that regular live music session Peanut Butter Jam has taken its final bow, The Fridge has stepped up to fill in the entertainment gap at Wafi Rooftop Gardens. Head over every Friday evening to hear the best of local talent performing a variety of different genres, from jazz to alternative rock. Thai Chi and The Noodle Factory will serve up Asian fare for you to nibble on, alongside the Seville’s barbecue. Head for The Irish Village in Garhoud (04 282 4750) for intimate acts from big names, or hit the The Music Room in the Majestic Hotel Tower, Bur Dubai (04 501 2534), to find regular performances from a range of bands at one of the city’s best-equipped music venues.
The Fridge, Friday 7.30pm-11.30pm (free entry), Wafi Rooftop Gardens, Wafi Pyramids, Oud Metha (04 324 4100).
