We’re told it was absolute mayhem last time Metal Asylum hosted a punk night; a haze of pogoing bodies, flailing limbs, crowd-surfing, sweat and tears. The team are promising more high-jinx this time around, with headliners The Frenemies boasting a commercial, riff-heavy sound inspired by the likes of The Clash, Iggy Pop, and the omnipresent Black Keys. Also on the bill are the Dead Shakes, while the team have roped in ‘punk experts’ to spin new and old tunes and screen retro punky videos.
