Where are you from?
I’m half British and half Saudi, born and raised in London. My Dad’s the British one.
Why did you start DJing in the first place?
I started DJing in the UK back in 2000 while I was at college. I would always be chilling in a mate’s room where a lot of close friends would MC to drum and bass and thought I’d give the decks a whirl. I loved it, so I picked up some gear and have not looked back since.
What do you like about it?
What’s not to like? It’s great to be creative and different and find a sound that’s unique and widely growing each day.
What’s your DJing mantra?
Percussions and elbows. Just having fun is a key part of spinning records.
Where have you played in recently?
Recent DJ gigs include Trilogy, iBO, Touch and Club Submarine every Thursday night at the Plus Minus Sessions. International gigs so far have included Void (Beirut), Glow & Q-Bar (Bangkok), H2O (Colombo), SuperZero, Banana Bar, Dreamland (Zürich), Head Rush (Dar Es Salam), Warehouse Party (London) and many after-hours parties all over the place.
Tell us about your best Dubai gig so far?
Without thinking twice, Pots’n’Pans at iBO last May.
Where would you like to be playing in five year’s time?
Fabric (London) and Watergate (Berlin).
How have the Plus Minus Sessions been going?
They’ve been improving exponentially every week: there’s a great crowd and a true underground vibe, lets hope they keep on moving forward.

The thing you’re most proud of so far is…
My studio/party room is my main prized possession. However, I’m also really proud of how things have been going in my musical career. I’ve found a new family – let’s keep the good times rolling; there ain’t nothing better than a chicken wing on a string from Burger King.
