This looks to be one of the strongest Laughter Factory bills in months, with a trio of all-Brit talent. Andrew Bird is known for the animated delivery of his observational storytelling, and is regularly spotted at top UK clubs including The Comedy Store and The Glee. Meanwhile, we’ve had our eye on Phil Nichol for years, named Time Out’s best comedy performer back in 1998. Expect him to get wrapped up in surreal and bizarre ranting during his improv-heavy sets, which contrast with the style of fellow Laughter Factory comic Roger Monkhouse. Best known as a backstage gag-writer-for-hire, Monkhouse (pictured) pens weekly punchlines for Alan Carr and co on 8 Out of 10 Cats.
The Laughter Factory takes place at venues across Dubai until Friday May 11 – Dhs140, www.timeouttickets.com
