The Laughter Factory’s 15th birthday

US comedian Dave Fulton, Josh Howie and Junior Simpson

This month those funny, funny people at The Laughter Factory celebrate 15 years of making you giggle in the UAE. Since launching at Deira’s Hyatt Regency back in 1997, the brand has invited a staggering list of comics to our shores, including Russell Peters, Michael McIntyre, Sean Hughes and Frankie Boyle. Owner Gail Clough claims she’s laughed so hard over the years she’s had to inject herself with Botox to keep the laughter lines away. So to celebrate that mighty feat, her latest bill hosts ironic American Dave Fulton, who once fronted a Newsnight broadcast asking Brits to celebrate their own history rather than aping US pop culture. He’s joined by Edinburgh Fringe hit Josh Howie and upcoming raconteur Junior Simpson.
