Christophe Le Friant – or Bob, to me and you – is an apt artist to spin at Cavalli Club. Brash, showy and more than keen to flaunt his assets, the French DJ has found a fitting home in his old mate Roberto’s haunt. We’re sure his pappy house will go down a treat among the Swarvoski crystals and sparkler-laced bottles – although after numerous visits to Dubai, we all know he has more than enough chart-friendly tunes up his sleeves to fill a far larger floor. He’s back in town to promote new LP Disco Crash, a record that, despite appearances from Sean Paul, Pitbull, Fatman Scoop and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, is yet to produce a hit. Fear not – we’re sure old Bob still has a copy of ‘Love Generation’ kicking around somewhere.
