David Guetta live at Atlantis
Inarguably the biggest DJ in world right now (and arguably the biggest influence on chart music of the past couple of years), DG rolls back into the UAE on his seemingly never-ever-ending tour (last spotted: Creamfields Abu Dhabi in December). The French music manipulator gets a lot of flak for spinning his hits live with little mixing flair. He gets more flak for the commercial nature of those hits. But he’s got a lot of them – if you’ve been under a rock, check ‘Titanium’, ‘Without You’ and ‘Turn Me On’ for his recent form. If you dig good-time, hands-in-the-air floor-filling house-pop, it doesn’t get much better or bigger than this.

Justin Bieber ‘Believe’ World Tour at The Sevens
With a 25,000 capacity, the Bieb’s Middle Eastern debut is being touted as the biggest gig the emirate has ever seen. And that was before promoters announced a second date a day later. Much has been made of the 19-year-old’s erratic offstage behaviour of late, but we’re anticipating carefully choreographed pop when Bieber takes to the stage in Dubai. Whatever your opinion of the man, it’s a big night for Dubai.
