Will.i.am and Timbaland to play Dubai Music Week

Black Eyed Pea and legendary producer to play Quincy Jones-backed event

Black Eyed Peas’ star will.i.am and legendary producer Timbaland are heading to Dubai.

The pair will perform at Dubai World Trade Centre on Thursday September 26 as part of the inaugural Dubai Music Week.

Backed by music legend Quincy Jones, the six-day event is being touted as the region’s first music industry tradeshow and conference, as well as hosting live gigs every day.

In addition to his work fronting record-breaking The Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am has recently been jamming airwaves with duets with Britney Spears (‘Scream & Shout’) and Justin Bieber (‘That Power’).

Meanwhile producer Timbaland is best known for his long CV that includes work with Jay-Z, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and many, many more A-list stars.

More headline performers are expected to be announced soon.
