R&B star Jeremih is the latest artist announced for RedFestDXB on Thursday February 12, and Friday 13, 2015, at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, joining Iggy Azalea, The Script, Kiesza, Ella Eyre and Cris Cab. This year saw the release of his smash single ‘Don’t Tell Em’, which became his fourth top ten track on the Billboard Charts. Jeremih has collaborated with the likes of Ludacris, 50 cent, Tyga and Wiz Khalifa. ‘Down On Me’ featuring 50 Cent has had more than 146 million views on YouTube.
Eliza Doolittle is set to headline the Grazia Fest at The Dubai International Marine Club on Friday November 7. The 26-year-old will be performing her chart-topping hits such as ‘Skinny Genes’ and ‘Pack Up’ at the fashion and music festival.
Kicksound, the award-winning rock band from Dubai, are set to release their debut EP on Friday November 14, following a special live performance. The launch will take place at Legends, Chelsea Plaza Hotel, and is set to feature several guest appearances from well-known local musicians. The show will be opened with an acoustic set by Colombian songstress Fatiniza, one of Dubai’s most successful recording artists.
Adding to the roster of beach clubs in Dubai, England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has revealed plans on his Facebook page for a new club located at the Rixos Hotel on the Palm. Eden Beach Club is designed to reflect the architectural spirit of the Mediterranean, where during the day guests can take in the comfort of the pool side dotted with sun loungers and private cabanas, and the beach with its private bungalows as well as a restaurant, a bar and live music at night.
