Band Jam – Battle of the Bands
The event will kick off on an outdoor stage on Al Rigga Road and is aimed at encouraging budding musicians to pick up their instruments and battle it out with competing bands. The top three bands will win a number of exciting prizes and an opportunity to have their tracks played on TAG FM. Suitable for all ages and nationalities, the event will also have food and beverage kiosks, a market, a merchandise booth, DJs and live broadcasts from TAG FM. During breaks in the competition, break dancers and free-style hip-hop acts will keep the crowd entertained.

Sessions Live
This new singer-songwriter contest is held once a month at Belgian restaurant and lounge Bapas, and will open its stage to three musical acts (solo or duet), each playing a 30-minute set of original or cover songs. The audience will vote for the winner. The crowd favourite will return in two weeks and grab the Bapas stage on their own while pocketing five percent of the restaurant’s revenue from that night.
