Dirty South at Cavalli Club

DJ Dirty South will play on Sunday

Don’t miss two-time Grammy Award nominee Dirty South at Cavalli Club Dubai on Sunday.

The DJ – real name Dragan Roganović - will be playing some of his biggest hits to date when he takes to the venue 22 February, including his single City Of Dreams on which he teams up with Alesso and vocalist Ruben Haze.

The Serbia-born act has headlined huge festivals across the world - including Coachella, Creamfields and Electric Daisy Carnival – and this year he also has the popular Electric Zoo and Tomorrowland to look forward to. So those in attendance can expect an incredible set on the night from the global favourite.

Dirty South, 36, has a busy schedule ahead. He plays London’s Project this Friday and Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on Saturday before jetting to the United Arab Emirates.

Despite hailing from Europe, the DJ, remixer and record producer is based in Melbourne, Australia and will resume his travels on 10 April when he is due in Indio to play California’s famous Coachella Music Festival.

At the same time Dirty South is taking his music talents to the film industry and recently told fans he is recording a motion picture. He wrote on Instragram last week: “Camera's ready, prepare the flash!! About to shoot a feature film in 3 weeks with @spokelane . And I'm also scoring the whole film...this is a massive journey and a next creative step I'm about to take.”

At the moment, the musician is promoting his latest album With You, for which he also has short film by the same title.

Signed to global label Astralwerks in July 2014, Dirty South has collaborated with world-renowned producers, including Axwell,  who he also shared the studio with in creating their Grammy nominated remix of Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’.

Dirty South’s productions have earned him two ARIA (Australia) nominations, a winning vote for Most Popular Producer Nationally in the 2007 InTheMix 50 DJ Poll, and most recently an Essential New Tune (Unbreakable, July 2014) award by the legendary Pete Tong.

Tickets for his 9.30pm Cavalli Club gig are priced at Dhs200 and sold at the door - call 8002282554 or +971509910400 for reservations.
