1 Copper Dog

The traditional Scottish pub will undergo a transformation this St. Patrick’s Day, with an array of Irish food specials and Irish hops on offer all day for Dhs30, and live music from talented Gaelic duo Kasio.

2 Dhow & Anchor
There will be Irish food on the à la carte menu all day, while selected hops from the Emerald Isle will be on offer for Dhs17 between noon and 7pm. Don’t miss the performance of Irish dancing, either, which will take place at 5pm.

3 Fibber Magee’s

Fibber’s will be running events and offers all weekend, starting with special deals of Dhs25 on selected Irish hops and two-for-one Irish short beverages the day before the main event, on Thursday March 16, from 7pm to 10pm. On Friday March 17, Paddyman – the self-professed “number one Irish entertainer in the Middle East” – will be on stage playing traditional tunes from 7.30pm to 10pm. There will also be more beverage offers from 4pm to 8pm. The Paddy’s Day weekend closing party will be on Saturday March 18, with more special offers and music from Irish DJs.

4 McGettigan’s
All three venues will be putting on a breakfast (a roll and a drink for Dhs50) and a huge brunch where you’ll get plenty of traditional Irish grub, unlimited drinks, live entertainment, giveaways and more. At the JLT spot, see Mike Ross, The MapleJacks and traditional Irish dancing. Over at DWTC there’ll be music from the Mike Ross Trio and Scott Maher, while at the Madinat Jumeirah venue, Sean Gavin will be playing in the afternoon, followed by the Scitzophonic duo. You can get brunch and a Paddy’s Day Party @ Media City ticket rolled into one, and take the free bus to get there, too.

5 Nezesaussi Grill

The new Dubai Marina branch of this sports bar has turned St. Patrick’s Day into a month-long event. Get special beverage offers, free hops when you order a burger and plenty of chances to win prizes.

7 Speakeasy Bar & Restaurant

Americans are well known for their big Paddy’s Day celebrations, and American-themed bar Speakeasy is going all out for two nights of festivities. A live band will be performing and there will be themed food and mixed beverages on offer throughout both nights.

8 The Dubliner’s
Follow the craic all the way to the Emerald City Brunch at one of Dubai’s best-loved Irish establishments. It features an all-you-can-eat feast of the country’s specialities from 1pm until 4pm, but it’s also worth sticking around for the live evening show from the brilliant Irish band from 7pm.

9 The Irish Village
For a true Irish experience, you can’t get much better than this decades-old institution. The IV’s three-day event runs from Thursday March 16 through to Saturday 18, with live music from Ruaile Buaile, The MapleJacks and DJ Marky Mark, along with traditional Irish music and dancers on Friday 17, and a kid-friendly event on Saturday 18, featuring a petting zoo, face-painting and a bouncy castle.

10 The Paddy’s Day Party @ Media City
It’s a Paddy’s Day party in the park this year with McGettigan’s, which is putting on the biggest celebration in the city. Top acts such as The Coronas, Gavin James and The Commitments will be performing throughout the day, while complimentary buses will be running between the bar’s three venues (where there are brunch and breakfast deals) and Dubai Media City, so that you can easily hop from the bar to the main bash.
