Beyond the Barricade at Madinat Theatre - This week only
One of the UK’s biggest musical theatre concerts is on all week. The talented cast have all held principal roles in the West End, as well as touring productions of Les Misérables, and the show features songs from some of the best-loved musicals of all time – including Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story and The Lion King – with full orchestrations and spine-tingling harmonies.

Ghariba at Ghariba Bar - This week only

The official Art Dubai after-party includes a line-up of local international DJs and musicians including experimental hip-hop and soul DJ Nightmares on Wax and UAE music including James Locksmith, Satwa 3000 and Shemroon & Siamak Amidi of Analog Room.

Montreux Comedy Festival at DUCTAC

The huge French comedy event will be in town for two days, and this will be the first time ever that the show will be offered in English as well as French. The English-speaking line-up includes Swiss comic Noman Hosni and Canadian Mike Ward (who both also appear in the French edition) with Emirati Ali Al Sayed and Sebastian Marx from the US.

The Gipsy Kings at Wafi Pyramids Rooftop Gardens - Today only
For those unfamiliar, The Gipsy Kings’ flamenco-inspired pop music is sung in Spanish with Andalusian accents, the group actually originates from the south of France. Relax on beanbags at the Pyramids’ rooftop gardens and enjoy.

The Laughter Factory - Today only
Nicknamed “The Funny Greek” Angelo Tsarouchas will be in town for this month’s Laughter Factory. You might recognise him from screen cameos in films including Cinderella Man, or hit TV show Mad Men. On the bill with him are grumpy Brit Mark Maier and young, up-and-coming comedian Matt Rees.

Aurora presents Max Vangeli at Zero Gravity - Today only
House DJ Max Vangeli has collaborated with Steve Angello and Tiësto and has played at Pacha Ibiza alongside Swedish House Mafia.

Boogie Box Sixth Anniversary at The Q Underground - Today only
The pioneers of house and techno nights in the UAE are celebrating their sixth anniversary (in collaboration with The Flip Side record shop and Dubai-based music and arts collective 264 Cru). DJ Boddika – owner of Nonplus records and one of the biggest house and techno producers on the scene today – will be headlining. Expect all-out décor, giveaways and, of course, excellent music.

Horse Meat Disco at 360° - Today only
This funky disco crew know how to spin classic and Italo disco, house, afro and punk funk. Their reputation for epic parties is notorious across London, Europe and New York, and they’ll be in Dubai for the first time this week. Worth checking out whether you’re a fan of the genre or not.

St. Patrick’s Day bash at The Irish Village - This weekend only
For a truly Irish experience, you can’t get much better than this decades-old institution. The IV’s three-day event runs from Thursday March 16 to Saturday 18, with live music from Ruaile Buaile, The MapleJacks and DJ Marky Mark, plus traditional Irish music and dancers.

Paddy’s Day Weekend at Fibber Magee’s - This weekend only
Rounding off a weekend of Paddy’s Day celebrations, Fibber’s will have plenty of special offers on Irish beverages and music from Irish DJs at tonight’s closing party.

Trivia Rocks at Cook Hall - New
