American rapper Lil Wayne will be performing in the UAE for the first time.
The 33-year-old will be making an appearance at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Ballroom, an event hosted by VIP Room Dubai, on January 14 and can be expected to perform hits such as Lollipop, Got Money and A Milli when he gets on stage.
Fans can get a glimpse of the star - real name Dwayne Carter Jr- on a table bookings and guest list reservations only basis. Entry fee is Dhs250 for the event taking place 11pm-3am.
Following his concert in Dubai Lil Wayne has plenty of other tour dates lined up across the United States, taking him into March.
Lil Wayne launched on to the music scene in 1999 and since then the Grammy Award-winner has collaborated with Drake, Destiny's Child and Jadakiss.
In the last year, VIP Room at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel has hosted many big name stars including rapper Flo Rida and Tyga.
The brand – which originates from Monaco – also held a series of nights at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last November, seeing the likes of Akon, 50 Cent and Ludacris perform.
