Sensation Dubai 2016 (Nov 11) will be held at Bab Al Shams

Time Out announces Sensation Dubai 2016 (Nov 11) will be held at Bab Al Shams, probably the biggest ever music event in the desert. Get ticket info

Come Friday November 11, Dubai will host one of its biggest dance festivals… but in the desert. Sensation 2016 is returning to the emirate for the third year, this time setting camp at Bab Al Shams Event Arena.

After hosting two back-to-back editions of Sensation Dubai at Meydan Racecourse, this year’s dance party will be a total sensory experience with more extravagant aerial acts planned, along with a light and laser show. The artist line-up is yet to be revealed.

Only a 40-minute drive from Downtown Dubai, Bab Al Shams is a luxurious desert resort located just beyond the Emirates Road. There will be shuttle buses operating from The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Marina Mall to take festival-goers to the venue.

The new venue is actually twinned with the previous venue, both of which are Meydan properties.

Time Out describes "a spectacular desert oasis that makes you feel a million miles from anywhere. Its pool facilities are a design marvel, and the views, whether from the ground-level infinity pool or the rooftop terrace, are genuinely stunning." You can read more of our Bab Al Shams review here.

In the past, Sensation Dubai has seen a line-up of international DJs including Martin Garrix, Roger Sanchez, Hard Rock Sofa, Martin Solveig, Sander van Doorn, and Mr White, as well as acrobat performances and world-renowned light show.

From Dhs299 (GA early-bird tickets). Dhs999 (Deluxe early-bird tickets). VIP Packages available. Fri November 11. www.sensation.com (055 875 9254055 875 9254).
