Zayn Malik has cancelled his Dubai concert in October, leaving thousands of fans disappointed.
The former One Direction star has backed out of the gig, scheduled on October 7, having earlier this summer pulled out of the Capital Summertime Ball in London.
In a statement, the Brit said: "I have been working over the last three months to overcome my extreme anxiety around major live solo performances. I feel I am making progress but I have today acknowledged that I do not feel sufficiently confident to move forward with the planned show in Dubai.
"I am assured that all tickets will be refunded. I am truly sorry to disappoint you. I hope to see you soon."
Malik is also thought to be working on his second album. The star, who walked out on his old band more than 18 months ago, has forged an impressive solo career in 2016 having enjoyed great success with his debut album Mind Of Mine. The record received considerable acclaim and showed a maturity not seen in the star before, and had several singles top charts around the world.
The Pillowtalk singer was due to perform at Autism Rocks Arena when the season kicks off again in what would have been his first feature-length gig anywhere in the world.
In a statement released on Tuesday morning, organisers 117Live added: "With the unfortunate cancellation of this show 117Live will ensure that ticket holders will receive full refund from their respective point of sales – details of refund arrangement can be found on all relevant ticketing partner and event web sites and in-store at Virgin Megastore outlets.
"117live wishes to thank all fans and event partners for their support and look forward to seeing you all at our other upcoming events at the Autism Rocks Arena."
