White Dubai announces Ne-Yo, Nelly, DMX and more

Time Out has the best nightlife news as White Dubai announces Ne-Yo, Nelly, DMX and more for the new season of hip hop concerts in Dubai

White Dubai has announced the first part of its line-up for the 2016/2017 season – the rooftop club at Meydan will open its doors again on Thursday, September 15, and on Friday 16 it will host the Grammy Award-winning singer Ne-Yo.

The club, which has played host to numerous big names since launch, most notably Tinie Tempah who shot one of his music videos there,  has recently been renovated, and promises cutting-edge technology, like lasers and dancers on ziplines.

Thursday nights at White Dubai will feature a line-up of international house DJs, who are yet to be announced, while Fridays will focus on more commercial music.

Saturdays will see the return of URBN Saturdays, and the first few international guests have already been revealed, with Eva Simons performing on September 24, Nelly on October 1, and rapper DMX on October 8.

White Dubai has been Time Out's Best Club for the last two years, and recently made it on to DJ Mag’s list of the world’s Top 100 Clubs – coming in at number 49, it’s the first and only venue in the Middle East to feature on the list, so they’ve got a lot to celebrate.
