Billionaire Mansion is capitalising on the wave of operatic interest sweeping the UAE in the wake of Dubai Opera launching earlier this year, by bringing legend Andrea Bocelli to town for a special one-off gig.
The Italian tenor is one of the most recognisable names in classical music, having sold more than 80 million records worldwide during a career spanning two decades. He has also managed to make a major imprint on the mainstream scene and is widely considered to be the greatest ever crossover artists of all time.
Bocelli is also no stranger to the UAE, having performed in Abu Dhabi on three occasions, most recently in April 2016 when he brought his Cinema tour to the du Arena on Yas Island. His appearance at Billionaire Mansion, however, will be very different, with dinner packages ranging from Gold to Royal.
Those with Gold packages will be served a number of gourmet dishes to share along with bubbly, while those opting for the Royal package get a three-course meal, caviar and bubbly. In between, the Platinum package omits the caviar.
This show at the popular Business Bay venue is one of several set to take place over the coming months, across a range of genres. Among them is DJ Martin Solveig on Friday December 9 and Bob Sinclar on Friday February 10, as well as popular Russian rapper Timati on Monday January 2.
Billionaire Mansion has certainly lived up to its name since opening in Dubai earlier this year, attracting many of the rich and famous passing through the city, including Will Smith, Naomi Campbell and Robert De Niro. It also hosted the Time Out Dubai 15th Birthday Party in September of this year.
