Confusion reigns among Dubai-based Justin Bieber fans after the star appeared to confirm a show in the UAE next year, before details mysteriously vanished from his website.
Social media went into a frenzy at around 7pm on Tuesday night when screengrabs from justinbiebermusic.com listed a show at Autism Rocks Arena on May 6, 2017 among a long list of other gigs around the world.
No ticket details were made available in the listing, which got alarm bells ringing, especially as all other shows across Central America and Europe did so.
The proposed date is exactly four year since the Canadian superstar performed a sell-out show at Dubai Sevens Stadium, part of a two-night run. The leading events organisers who staged those shows are the same award-winning team behind all concerts and events at the Autism Rocks Arena, which does add a degree of expectancy to Tuesday's leak.
No comment has been made immediately available, but Time Out Dubai will have any official information just as soon as it is available.
Bieber's Purpose World Tour kicks off on Friday in New York City, and takes in appearances in Australia, Mexico, France and his homeland, as well as other key venues around the world.
He is set to showcase material from his fourth album of the same name, released in 2015.
