St. Patrick’s Day party in Dubai Media City

Expect live music, brunch and more at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on March 17

St. Patrick’s Day is a huge event around the world, and Dubai rarely holds back on embracing the Irish tradition. This year, with the festival falling on a Friday for the first time in years, March 17 will see McGettigan’s go all out with a huge party at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.

An entire day of live music and craic awaits at the popular Irish pub chain’s Paddy’s Day Party. It promises a carnival atmosphere and a huge line-up of artists from the Emerald Isle, plus brunch deals, traditional Irish dancing and entertainment for all ages.

McGettigan’s favourites The Coronas return to emirate to headline the event, joined by nine-piece Dublin soul band The Stars from The Commitments, alternative rock band Walking on Cars, singer-songwriter Gavin James, singer-songwriter Craig Gallagher and more, supported by a raft of local musicians including Mike Ross.

Adult tickets include a free drink on arrival (either a pint of the black stuff or an apple-based beverage). There’s also the option to book a table for the big barbecue brunch (priced at Dhs395 per person including unlimited food and drinks from 1pm to 4pm) and enjoy views out over the rest of the day-long festival.
Dhs125 (early-bird, including one free drink), Dhs150 (regular, including one free drink), Dhs395 (brunch), Dhs75 (kids under 16), free for kids under five. Fri March 17, 1pm-midnight. Dubai Media City Amphitheatre,
