DJ Whoo Kid to headline Time Out’s after-party

International DJ brings EDM beats to post-awards bash

We are just a week away from the biggest after-party of the year. After we reveal the winners of our 8th annual Time Out Dubai Music & Nightlife Awards, we’ll be heading over to Cavalli Club for a huge party, headlined by the one and only DJ Whoo Kid.

Over his two-decade-long career, the American DJ has worked with artists from LL Cool J to 50 Cent and G-Unit. He has gone from being a hustling hip-hop mixtape DJ to one of the biggest and best in the industry, turning his hand more recently to EDM and dropping massive melodic, progressive house tracks such as GOLD, and TOAST, featuring Borgeous, Waka Flocka Flame and Wiz Khalifa.

His international tour with Waka Flocka Flame sold out last year, and as a solo DJ, he’s known as The Mixtape King, thanks to his open-format DJing style and his ability to mash up the biggest and best crowd-pleasing tracks to get the dancefloor moving.

In fact, the name came from his early career in ’90s and ’00s NYC, when his series of G-Unit mixtapes helped 50 Cent’s astronomic rise to rapping fame.

Now, when he’s not being booked for celebrity bashes, Whoo Kid is the host of massive radio show the Whoolywood Shuffle (on Eminem’s radio station Shade 45), which more than ten million listeners tune into every week.

You don’t need to be an award winner to party with us. So dress to impress and get yourself down to Cavalli on Wednesday March 29 for a night of epic mashed-up hip-hop, R&B, chart hits and EDM. Trust us, you don’t want to miss it.
Free. Wed Mar 29, 10.30pm-3am. Cavalli Club, Fairmont Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 332 9260).
