BASE announces Alesso and Fetty Wap

More superstars lined up for season’s penultimate weekend

BASE has announced another set of massive international acts for its third, and penultimate, weekend of the season.

Weekend one saw Axwell and 50 Cent rocking a completely packed house, before Afrojack and Rick Ross arrived in town last weekend. Now, Swedish DJ Alesso, known for his breakout song Heroes is in line to play on Thursday May 11, following a prestigious Las Vegas residency at XS Nightclub, as well as headlining the Sahara tent at Coachella for two consecutive years.

Meanwhile, up-and-coming rapper Fetty Wap is going to be hitting the club on Friday May 12, bringing his self-proclaimed “ignorant R&B” styles to the stage. Known for hits such as Trap Queen, Jimmy Choo and Like a Star, Fetty is making waves following multiple emerging artist accolades from the likes of MTV and the Billboard Music Awards.

BASE opens its doors at 10pm, and Time Out Dubai strongly recommends arriving early or booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment.

Now, all eyes are on the end of season announcement, and it looks like it’s going to be a big one…
Free entry. 10pm-3am, Thu May 11 – Fri May 12. BASE, d3, (055 313 4999).
