A new live hip-hop venue is coming to Stereo Arcade

Popular JBR nightspot launches alternative club

A brand-new hip-hop, funk, R&B and electronica venue has opened up at Stereo Arcade in JBR, the popular club-meets-retro arcade.

The Boom Room, which will bring together different DJs from around Dubai, launches this Thursday June 29, with DJ Andy Swift, while Friday 30 will see Dean Curtis hit the decks. The venue has been revamped and transformed from a pub, which previously hosted live music six nights a week, and into an alternative club with a definite urban vibe.

The venue will still play host to loads of live music from the city’s up-and-coming artists, but is changing its focus towards being a platform for the region’s budding hip-hop.

Throughout the week, there will be different club nights playing a range of genres, from funk to vinyl DJ classics.

Head down to the DoubleTree in JBR for some live hip hop vibes.
