A brand-new night is coming to Lucky Voice at Dubai’s Grand Millennium Hotel in Barsha Heights.
The karaoke, fun-loving nightclub is launching a comedy game show alongside stand-up comedy club Dubomedy.
Head down to Lucky Voice on Monday September 11 at 8pm, where Dubomedy’s Comedy Game Show will be kicking off a new monthly night of action-packed laughs and improv comedy, mashed together with formats and segments from classic TV shows, plus audience participation, jokes and prizes.
Every show will feature a rotating cast of comedians, plus special guest stand-up experts hosting the night. The show is directed by award-winning comedian Mina Liccione, from MTV, Cique and Comedy Central Arabia.
Entry will cost you Dhs50 on the night, and entry comes with a complimentary house beverage on arrival. Happy hour will run until midnight, which includes two-for-one house beverages and pizzas. After the show ends, you can also hop into one of Lucky Voice’s brilliant private booths to sing your heart out through the night, which features more than 15,000 tracks, plus in-booth food and beverage service.
Dhs50. Mon Sep 11, 8pm-3am. Lucky Voice Dubai, Grand Millennium Hotel Dubai, Barsha Heights (800 58259).
If you’re on the lookout for comedy, we’d also recommend heading to The Laughter Factory’s gigs in Dubai towards the end of September. On Friday September 29, Daliso Chaponda, the UK-based comedian who shot to fame on Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year, is coming to Dubai. Chaponda is being joined by seasoned veteran Paul Tonkinson and self-deprecating Canadian Peter White. The quick-fire tour of the UAE will finish in Dubai with two shows on Friday September 29 – there will be a 7pm show at the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Beach, followed by a 9pm show at DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Business Bay.
