The Huddle Bur Dubai gets a brand-new look

One of Dubai’s legendary sports bar haunts has got a brand-new look, as The Huddle in Bur Dubai’s Citymax Hotel has undertaken a bit of a transformation.

The club is known for good vibes, decent drinks, two happy hours and so many TVs that it’s literally impossible to not catch the latest match – much like its Al Barsha sibling.

But the two venues now look markedly different from one another, following the Bur Dubai bar’s renovation. What was once dark brown is now pale, light or even teal. Where there was mahogany panelling there is now exposed brick, more lighting, and a slightly more industrial feel. Swipe through the gallery above to see its transformation.

There are private rooms with long tables and TVs with hops barrels lining the walls (The Keg Room), and in the main area, along with the mass of screens (including a 100-inch HDTV and a 165-inch digital wall), there’s a huge stage taking front and centre. On a weekend you’re going to find a live band pumping out brilliant covers late into the night, from a range of genres, and the midnight happy hour makes it a fun-filled night.

At the other end of the bar, there’s the grill area for dining, plus a pool table and dart board for a bit of bar sports.

If you’ve not been to The Huddle before, you’ve now got another reason to visit.
