Floating bar now open at Dubai’s Barasti

Head to one of the city’s most novel sundowner spots until November 4

There’s a floating bar coming to town, and not only will it look absolutely amazing, but you can hang out on it until the start of November.

We reported recently that Barasti is going to be playing host to a huge, three-day music festival – featuring said floating bar – at the Sunsets Festival on Thursday November 2 until Saturday 4.

Now, for a limited time only, you can book in an hour-long slot on the floating bar, which is a temporary feature hanging out off the coast of Dubai Marina for the next couple of weeks.

You and your mate can book in an hour on the floating vessel, which the organisers are calling “an hour of the most Instagrammable fun in the sun”. But once you’re done taking photos, you and your buddy can grab a bucket of hops and chill out for an hour – all for Dhs200 (in total). You need to get your bucket from the bar first, then you can head over to the floating bar.

It runs from noon until 6pm every day, so we imagine this is probably going to be one of the most popular sundowner spots in the city over the next couple of weeks.

To book your slot, head to the Beach Bar at Barasti. We’ll see you on the water.
Daily noon-6pm. Until November 4. Barasti Beach Bar, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, Dubai Marina (04 318 1313).
