Brand-new rooftop lounge opening in Dubai

Secret Terrace promises a chilled, easy-going night in Business Bay

The Secret Terrace, a brand-new nightlife hotspot at the Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay, opens its doors on Wednesday October 18.

Opening just in time for the winter season, the terrace is an outdoor rooftop venue that is promising a chilled retreat, with tasty, “down to earth” food and drinks to match its ambience. Expect Thai street-food in a menu of small bites and sharing platters, and a broad menu of drinks alongside.

“Floral, twinkling and fairytale-like, the team has put their heart and soul into the Secret Terrace,” says the team behind the venue’s launch. But, perhaps more indicatively, the general manager has claimed it will be a really chilled, easy going spot.

“I am thrilled with the overwhelming support we’ve received for The Backyard,” said Stephen Meredith, general manager at Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay. “We wanted to come up with something new in the ever changing culinary landscape of Dubai. This is no ordinary place – sometimes you just want to sit and enjoy a nice evening out without too much noise. That’s how the Secret Terrace was born, and we can’t wait to get started.”

The Secret Terrace will be bringing a weekly ladies’ night with it which promises an evening of fun and pampering from a range of beauty specialists coming at the bar.

Blissology, Phemke and Solo Tre Salon will be at the ladies' night every week, starting on Wednesday October 18, with make-up giant Laura Mercier Cosmetics offering personalised, complimentary make-up sessions from their pro make-up artists on opening night, so don't miss them.

The ladies’ night will run every Wednesday from 7pm until midnight, where for Dhs100 ladies can get their hands on an unlimited flow of sparkling grape, flavoured Mexican mixed drinks, mocktails and soft drinks, plus a range of appetisers

Open daily 5pm-midnight. Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay (04 369 0000).
