Free-spirited night Kaynouna returns to Dubai

Alternative festival heads to Jumeirah Creekside Hotel on December 1

Free-spirited music lovers of Dubai, unite, because it’s time for the return of one of the city’s newest and hottest alternative nights out.

Kaynouna, which launched earlier this year, is coming back to Dubai this weekend with another bohemian festival. Having previously been located at Tr!BeCa in JBR, this month’s festival is heading to The Secret Garden at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel with its latest edition: “We Are Roots”.

Taking place on Friday December 1 from 6pm until 2am, Kaynouna (which in Arabic philosophy translates to “Being, Existence and Life”) will begin with a meditational and peaceful yoga session, before the festivities really begin.

All night long there will be an communal art session hosted by Blank Canvas Community, as well as interactive games, brilliant food vendors, truly relaxed festival vibes and whole host of awesome live music acts.

Music at Kaynouna focuses on bringing diverse, original, international and truly multicultural live acts to the fore, with previous artists hailing from the Middle East, Europe, North Africa, America and beyond.

This time is no exception, with German/Syrian act Shkoon returning for another performance, as well as Kerala Dust from the UK, Bachir Salloum from Lebabon and AAYA from Canada.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the perfect Dubai winter weather, catch up with friends and unleash your free-spirited self.

Expect no dress code, it’s all about having fun your way. Tickets start at Dhs150 and are available on
