Huge throwback disco night coming to Dubai

Moe’s on the 5th to host retro bash on Thursday January 25

A massive night of throwback tunes, live music, French grub and more is coming to town, as Moe’s on the 5th gets ready to launch Flash Back 54.

Taking place on Thursday January 25, Moe’s is getting ready to celebrate the start of 2018 with a night full of inspiration from legendary Manhattan club Studio 54. The Dubai nightspot, found on the fifth floor of the Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road near Dubai World Trade Centre, says it will be a night “full of Studio 54 props, glitter and sparkles and sensational live music”.

On the night, world-travelling singer and DJ Simonne Cooper is going to be entertaining throughout – having taken her vocal styles to some of the biggest clubs in cities around the world, including New York, London, Miami, Ibiza and Sydney. Having also played alongside Dubai favourites Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez and Carl Cox, Cooper promises a massive performance throughout the evening.

The night is also about bringing back the discotheque trends of yesteryear, so portable hair and make-up specialist Glam Bar will be on hand to take your look back to the ’70s for a night of glitz and glam.

For food, Moe’s on the 5th will also be serving up some classic French dishes with a contemporary edge, including foie gras sliders, Cordon Bleu bites, mushroom rigatoni, pan-seared duck and French sea bass fillet.

So if you’re looking for something a little bit different this month, look no further.
