Toy Room nightclub moves to a swish new venue

The hip hop hangout will be relocating to Meydan Racecourse in February

Toy Room is moving to a new venue in super swanky Soho Garden next month.

The team behind the nightclub, famous for its celebrity clientele and party-loving (cuddly) mascot, Frank the Bear, told Time Out Dubai that they will be moving to the swish new venue in February.

We are yet to find out exactly when, but we are excited to see that Frank is going up in the world.

As well as Toy Room, the hugely ambitious 14,000 sq m Soho Garden will bring many more new clubs, restaurants and bars to Dubai, and will also feature swimming pools and a 10,000-capacity concert area, with the promise to bring “an unprecedented level of service with the best live talent” to the complex.

The venue, at Meydan Racecourse, is also home to Café Mambo, the world famous Ibiza brand that was established in 1994 on The White Isle.

The first phase of development is now open to party-goers, after being opened with a set from world-famous DJ, Roger Sanchez in late December.

Visitors now have access to four bars and a daytime pool area surrounded by lush garden foliage to transport you from lazy days to partying under the stars.

The Glasshouse Bar, at the heart of the Soho Garden brand, fuses classic elements of the English garden with a contemporary twist, whereas the Tiki bar promises to pique your curiosity and transport you to another world of flavour.

Best known known for hip hop music, its exclusive guests and, of course, giant teddy bear Frank, Toy Room opened in 2015 at Al Murooj Rotana Hotel in Downtown Dubai, after huge success at its original spot in London
We can’t wait for the housewarming.

Opening Feb. Toy Room, Meydan Racecourse Grandstand, Nad Al Sheba (056 822 2559).
