Cavalli Club brings back massive night of retro hits

Flashdance returns for weekly night of throwback pop classics from January 30

Fans of retro hits, this one’s for you.

One of Dubai’s top nightclubs has brought back a pretty epic weekly throwback night – and it’s bound to get you reaching for the ceiling.

Cavalli Club at Fairmont Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road has announced the return of Flashdance – one of the club’s oldest regular nights. Get ready for some old-school remixes spearheaded by top Dubai mash-up DJ Rodge, who is coming to town on Tuesday January 30, and every Tuesday thereafter.

Expect top pop and retrotastic hits, Whitney Houston (or maybe even the theme-tune from Friends…) to go alongside the swanky designer club’s brand-new LED dancefloor. In fact, the club will be transforming every week, with huge disco balls, glow sticks, hundreds of slinkies all over the ceiling and tonnes more.

For Dhs300 per person, you’ll get three-and-a-half hours of unlimited drinks and a singalong bash that’s bound to leave your voice feeling a little hoarse in the morning.

With Flashdance coming back to the fixture list, the club’s weekly ladies’ night is being nudged back to Monday night, starting on January 29 (with unlimited drinks from 8.30pm until 3am, plus a set menu for Dhs150).

So, we’ll see you there, ready to sing our little heart out.

Dhs300. Tue Jan 29, 8.30pm-3am. Ongoing. Fairmont Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road (050 991 0400).
