French superclub Gotha to open in Dubai

The brand-new Business Bay nightspot is promising top live acts

Dubai’s nightlife scene is about to go up a notch, thanks to the arrival of brand-new superclub Gotha.

The hot new nightspot is due to open imminently at the Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Waterfront in Business Bay.

It’s one of a string of hot new clubs to open in the city, including 1 Oak also in Business Bay at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai – and Drai’s at Meydan Racecourse.

According to the team behind it, Gotha Club Dubai is “set to change the game in the UAE’s nightlife scene”. And we can’t wait to check it out.

The club was founded by Patrick Tartary and David Barokas in 2011 in Cannes. It’s since become a popular party destination, so we’re expecting great things for the new Dubai version.

“Hosting the most sophisticated events and providing completely original productions and entertainment, Gotha Club Dubai will offer a unique and animated clubbing experience combining elements from a classic night club and a live entertainment venue, equating to what can only be described as a generation X super club,” says the team.

The décor at the new Dubai club is set to be super trendy, with designs such as gold panther heads, commissioned by contemporary French Sculpture Richard Orlinski.

The 14,000sq ft club also houses a 15m bar, eight VIP areas and 47 VIP tables, so is sure to have the party crowds flocking in to dance the night away.

Gotha is promising a line-up of A-list stars set to entertain Dubai’s clubgoers, and with top names including Wiz Khalifa, Martin Solveig and French Montana performing for the crowds in the South of France equivalent, we’re hoping for some top names to take to the stage over here, too.
