Drai’s Dubai announces Tory Lanez for opening night

Canadian rapper to headline new nightclub’s launch

Hot new superclub Drai’s is throwing open its doors next week (Friday February 9) – and rapper Tory Lanez is to be the massive new arrival’s first act.

The Canadian artist will be taking to the stage on the brand-new Meydan nightclub’s opening night.

His debut studio album I Told You was a huge hit in August 2016, and his singles include Say It and Luv, which peaked at number 23 and 19 respectively on the Billboard Hot 100.

Drai’s is part of Soho Garden, a 14,000 sq m complex that offers up dining, poolside lounging and more, at Meydan Racecourse Grandstand at Nad Al Sheba.

Drai’s Dubai, which has capacity for 2,000 partygoers and room for a further 3,000 when the indoor space opens, is an all-day “beach club” (notably without an actual beach), transforming into an exclusive nightspot as evening falls. Think VIP tables and a massive, extravagant pool party with luxury cabanas and sun loungers.

In its Las Vegas home Drai’s is known as a swanky, late-night pool party hotspot where massive DJs perform frequently, and if its roots are anything to go by, Dubai is going to be getting itself a towering new addition to the club scene. We can’t wait to check it out next weekend.

Drai’s is one of several huge new clubs exploding onto the Dubai nightlife scene this year, including Cannes import Gotha, which is opening soon and US celeb spot 1 OAK, which is due to open Business Bay in the coming weeks.
